Been a patient for few years now. Can highly recommend this dental practice. From the reception staff, Hygenist and now new desists, Robbie and Taco. Have used both now, very professional, knowledgable and gentle. Annette the Hygenist is fabulous. The staff at front line are always so helpful. So have look on web page and read about this wee team.

I have been with this practice for 5 decades as have all my family and the levels of care, service and treatment just keep getting better and better. The whole team is a joy to deal with and largely this is because so many of the dental nurses (and Hygienist supremo Annette) have remained at the practice through any changes of ownership over the years. This means they not only know their patients really well but genuinely care about them. Taco and Robbie (who bought the practice in 2015) have seamlessly taken up the reins and it already feels like they have been there for years. They have very quickly built up a fantastic reputation for their work and use of cutting-edge technology etc. A special mention too for Matthew Mullan BDS who is a firm favourite of my 86 year old mum, due to his exceptional care & lovely manner. All in all, I can't praise the MFD team highly enough - whilst a visit to the dentist can rarely be termed 'pleasurable', Mount Florida Dental is as close it gets!

TOP TEAM! Have been with this practice for more years than I'll ever admit to and it is, quite simply, FANTASTIC. The team of dental nurses and hygienist Annette are like family and, although a visit to the dentist is never 'fun', the warmth and exceptional care of MFD mean that it's never too stressful. The skill of all the dental surgeons and their use of the very latest dental practices and technology means you are assured of the best treatment possible. All this and a wholly positive and friendly environment what more could could you ask for?!

I have been using this practice since 2009 and I will happily say hands down its the finest dental practitioner that I have ever visited.
I have found all the staff to be very polite, well mannered and with a friendly face, they are also committed to helping their patients, and I have always felt they take great pride in their jobs.
I have been using Annette Pollock the dental hygienist for the past 6 years, and I think she has worked wonders in keeping my teeth in good condition and filling free since I started visiting her. She is very experienced and really has a great attitude towards her job and also her patients. I would thoroughly recommend a visit to her should you need a scale and polish.
I am so pleased that I found this practice and I would happily travel from outside Glasgow to visit it, should I ever have to move house in the future. Top marks guys, keep up the good work.

It's hard to review a dentist... Let's face it, nobody likes to see him. You feel like you're paying for the privilege of having someone drill in your mouth and experience that lovely fat-face feeling for the rest of the day.
However, I must say that this dental surgery have handled me wonderfully this last year. Unfortunately I found myself in a position where I needed quite a lot of dental work. First came the x-rays, which my dentist, Matthew Mullan, showed me and explained what I was seeing, and told me exactly what needed to be done. I was in for the magic of root treatment and a crown! Not what you want to hear, but better than having the toothache.
During every session, Matthew would recap the plan and explain what needed done on that day. He would make sure that when I was in the chair and he was working on my mouth, he would explain exactly what he was doing and always checked that I was doing OK. Matthew would also tell me that if I needed to take a break, all I had to do was let him know.
Nobody likes going to the dentist, but the care was excellent and my teeth look and feel great.

Not only is this an excellent dentist but the customer service is amazing! I had to cancel an appointment at very short notice, and was phoned back to be offered an alternative within 24 hours! Been going there for many years and can't recommend them highly enough.

EXCELLENT. As someone who had put off even check ups with a dentist for over 15 years, had suffered severe pain at times but would do anything apart from what I should have - visited a dentist, having been a patient at this practice now for 6 months (as you can imagine I had a fair bit of work needing doing) I could not recommend the staff, from receptionists, to the hygienist, to the dental practitioners highly enough. I have just finished 6 month of treatment. The dentist whom I saw each fortnight (sometimes every week) I fully put my trust in, I believe that I am a good judge of a person. Not once did the thought cross my mind to not go back or skip an appointment. Really friendly and create a relaxed atmosphere. My teeth are now in a much, much better state than before, obviously. If you are looking for a dentist because you do not have one, do not like (who does) the dentist or need major work done, I could not recommend this practice enough. And this is coming from someone who had not visited a dentist in over 15 years, other than to sign up with other practices, go once, then never make another appointment!.

I used to be a very nervous patient but now thanks to the consistently fantastic level of care and treatment, especially from Annette who is absolutely brilliant, I no longer mind going to the dentist.The new dentists who have taken over the practice last year are really good, very caring and incredibly professional. i would highly recommend this practice.

I have been a patient at this practice for many years, and hope to be for many more. I always feel comfortable with everyone, especially Annette. I have not been blessed with good teeth or gums, but have no concerns when attending appointments as I know I am in the best hands and they will do what is best for me. I recently had a veneer done by Matthew, for purely cosmetic reasons, and he did an amazing job. Everyone is very friendly and professional and I would not hesitate to recommend this practice to anyone. =)

Had an appointment with Robbie and team for implants yesterday, to say I was nervous is an understatement! However all my worries were groundless. From Ruth, practice manager, greeting me on arrival to the reasurances from Mary, long serving dental nurse, I was put at ease . Once in surgery Robbie with the aid of Andrena and Karla made sure I was comfortable and pain free throughout my procedure. The team made sure I was fine and had all my instructions before I left. Twenty four hours on I have mild discomfort but am delighted at how little pain I have experienced. I cannot recommend this practice and staff highly enough.

AMAZING TEAM. I have been at this practise for a few years now and have always been impressed by the staff and their dedication. I have always found the practise staff to be very warm and welcoming. I regularly attend the hygienist Annette Pollock and her relaxed friendly manner always puts me at ease. Her attention to detail is second to none. From the reception staff to the dental assistants including Mary and Stacey and Ruth (childsmile) to Robbie the dentist they have all been caring, friendly and incredibly professional. I chose this clinic because I liked the reviews. I used to do a round trip of 70 miles to visit my last dentist, so I wasn't bothered about the location, although it is close-by. The dentist (Taco) was friendly, professional and put me at ease straight away. I asked him about my over-crowded teeth and he gave me some very useful information, without attempting to push me into any treatment. I will definitely return for my next check-up in 6 months!

I'm somewhat embarrassed to say that - other than dentures - I have probably experienced every dental procedure over the years - from fillings and extractions to root canal! However, I always feel that I am offered very detailed and considered advice from expert practititioners at MFD and, importantly that I am treated as an individual and not just a number. The consultations are never hurried and I am consistently given the best treatment and after-care. Considering the processes and time involved in many of my appointments, I believe MFD has always represented excellent value for money. Other dentists I have been to in the past (when I lived outside of Glasgow) have charged ridiculous sums but HFD is always fair and reasonable....just as well, considering how often I am here!
A fantastic practice that combines the very best in dental skills and technology with a really friendly and inclusive atmosphere. I have known most of the nursing team for decades (as very few of them have left over the years) and they have become not only trusted advisors but good friends. Everyone in the team at Mount Florida Dental is an expert in their respective field and all offer an exceptional level of care and attention, no matter their role. I would urge anyone looking to find a dental practice that genuinely looks after its patients, both professionally and personally, to register here - this really IS as good as it gets!

Every member of staff is friendly and professional, giving a high standard of care. Emma on the reception is very helpful, and always a pleasure. I have just had braces fitted and the whole procedure was a breeze. Taco always explains exactly what he is doing which helps to keep the mind at ease. Today was my first visit to this practice. I have always had a fear of the Dentist since I was young so haven’t been in a long time. I was recommended this place by a friend who assured me how good it is. The young girl on reception desk, Emma, was lovely. She was so friendly and chatty and made me feel so relaxed I forgot about my fears! The Dentist I seen was lovely too. He gave me a filling and I didn’t feel a thing! I can honestly say my fears are now gone since finding this little gem. Thanks to all the staff for restoring my faith in the Dentist again..
